About Sam!

The Basics

• I'm a professional squash player from Canada.
• I've been playing full time since 2009, but started playing well before that!
• I play on the WSA tour, travelling often and laying it all on the line.

Bio

I was born in Deep River, Ontario where I first learned to play. Mom and Dad taught me all my moves, and the odd coach who passed through. There were a lot of opportunities to play after moving to Ottawa, and things grew from there. At 14 I had to choose between ice hockey and squash, because we couldn't keep up with all the driving! It was a tough decision. Choosing squash was an excellent choice, and it opened a lot of doors for me.

Why Squash?

Seeing the world and different cultures, making friends on the way, challenging myself, developing character, and so many more things. The list goes on! !
